The Press Association is looking for a Real Life Features Writer to join our London-based Exclusive Features team, which supplies features to national women's magazines and national newspapers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for finding and chasing exclusive real life stories, persuading subjects to talk solely to The Press Association, pitching to national publications, then interviewing and writing features to individual publications' style.
This is a role for an experienced journalist who can prove they are able to generate their own real life stories in a competitive market. You must be driven to secure stories and also be a talented writer.
Previous experience as a feature writer or news reporter is an essential requirement of the role and you will have an extensive cuttings folder to prove this. You may well be a real life features writer for another agency at present!
The starting date will be Monday 6 August.
