LatinFinance, the leading provider of value-added financial markets intelligence for Latin America and the Caribbean, seeks an experienced journalist to manage the editorial process for its features, special reports, polls and surveys
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an excellent writer, able to tackle complex issues clearly, incisively and with flair in print and online
- Possess strong organizational skills, have a sound knowledge of financial markets and a keen interest in Latin America
- Have experience of feature editing as well as familiarity with magazine design and layout
- Be numerate and able to analyze complex financial and economic data. And fluent in use of Excel and capital markets databases
- Have the ability to interact frequently and effectively with senior decision-makers in government, business and finance
- Speak and write Spanish fluently. Proficiency in Portuguese would be a plus
The role will entail:
- Writing features and cover stories across print, online and digital formats
- Commissioning stories from internal editorial staff and external contributors
- Managing the editing process and conducting regular market polls and surveys
- Frequent travel, including attendance at LatinFinance events
