The Reuters U.S. legal team is seeking a reporter to cover labor and employment law and policy. The successful candidate must be able to provide sophisticated coverage of the changing employment law landscape for our expanding audience of legal professionals as well as for the Reuters wire. This is a new position, based in Washington.
Coverage areas will include the National Labor Relations Board and other Washington agencies involved in labor issues, cases and controversies in the area of employment law, and new legal strategies by company and union lawyers. Developing sources will be key to the job, as you will be producing a mix of breaking news and enterprising coverage. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious journalist who is eager to shine in an area of growing importance to Thomson Reuters.
