The Latin Times seeks a Web savvy editor that can build the team, readership, and escalate the site to become the voice of the Latin community in the US, and for the Latin people the world over.
Successful candidates should have demonstrable experience building a news organization, managing websites, building readership and be overflowing with ideas on what the market needs, and how they can fulfill it. Candidates should also be able to execute and build quickly, efficiently and profitably.
Bilingual necessary.
The Web is still a fertile playground and those that want to push the envelope on how to serve the Latin community can apply. Candidates should feel comfortable working with not only sources and journalists, but also IT, designers, and programmers to cast a vision of what the site should become; Reflect this in your cover letter.
