Needed: Creative digital journalist/designer with development skills. Help design and create new sites and applications as part of a team focused on providing high-quality interactive and engaging journalism.
Responsible for developing mobile and Web-based applications for Tennessean.com and other local products within The Tennessean network. Applicant should be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and have intermediate HTML, HTML5, Javascript and CSS skills. An understanding of relational databases (PHP, MySQL, etc.) and familiarity with IOS and Android platforms are required.
A college degree and five years' digital experience required, including design experience on web/mobile applications. Prior experience in media preferred.
