Agenda, the premier publication for directors of publicly traded companies, is seeking a reporter to cover important trends affecting corporate governance.

Published every Monday in print and online, Agenda offers one-stop reading for the boardroom. We cover best practices in corporate strategy and directors’ role in shaping it; the thorny issue of executive compensation; CEO succession planning; legal and regulatory developments; audit and risk management; and other issues that concern corporate directors.

The successful candidate will have a lively interest in corporate governance and be able to write both breaking news stories and in-depth analyses. You should be curious about what makes companies tick, with a great eye for figuring out what Agenda readers need to know and filtering broader news stories through the boardroom lens. Corporate directors and executives are busy people, so a talent for writing crisp, compelling copy is essential.
Besides filing stories, Agenda reporters conduct video interviews, host webinars and travel to governance conferences once or twice a year. A background in business or financial journalism is a plus, but even more important is a proven ability to develop sources and do a deep dive into your beat.

Agenda is published by Money-Media, a Financial Times company. Based in midtown Manhattan, we offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits, as well as a positive and team-oriented environment. Check us out at www.money-media.com and let us know why you’d be a good fit for this position by sending a cover letter and resume to hr@money-media.com. Please put Agenda Reporter in the subject line of the e-mail. MENTION GORKANA WHEN APPLYING!
