Freelance Reporter, P3 Bulletin - NY
P3 Bulletin is a subscription only brand providing valuable news and data on partnerships between the public and private sector to procure, build, and finance large infrastructure projects.
We do this by publishing magazines and websites, and organising a number of events including conferences, seminars and awards ceremonies that take place in cities across the Americas.
The USA and Canada have become increasingly important markets, and as such the appointment of a US based Reporter is seen as a crucial next stage in our development as we look to grow our editorial credibility in the region.
The newly appointed role of ‘Reporter’ will work closely with the Consulting Editor to research and write news and features for the P3 Bulletin website and bi-monthly magazine.
Working flexibly from a shared workspace in New York, the Reporter will be expected to get to grips with the industry, attend conferences and seminars and conduct interviews with senior level contacts.
The successful applicant will receive training but should have either a year working as a reporter or be a bright graduate who is able to learn quickly. The owners of the publication are London-based so some of the early training may take place at the London offices.
The successful applicant should also be prepared to travel across North America and Latin America so being able to write and speak fluently in both English and Spanish is key.
The role will encompass:
- Researching leads for news stories
- Writing news stories and interviewing contributors
- Suggesting feature ideas and writing longer pieces on the industry
- Attending meetings with subscribers and potential subscribers
- Attending and reporting on industry events
We want to hear from talented graduates that have a desire to be part our new team in the US.
